ABOUT THE MAINSHIP TRAWLER 430

The Mainship Corporation is the leading manufacturer of production trawlers building 6 different models with many more on the drawing boards. Production is split between the St. Augustine facility it shares with the reacquired Luhrs Corporation and a new facility in Salibury, MD.

Today, Mainship, along with its sister companies in the Luhrs Marine Group, is an employee ownership company. This means that all employees want to share in the success of creating value and satisfaction for all the Mainship owners for years to come.

With the 43 Aft Cabin Trawler, Mainship understood that cruisers had different needs and desires, so the Mainship design team came up with a modular salon. The sofa and dining table could be moved to suit needs whether it was the galley up, three stateroom or galley down, two stateroom version. Rich cherry woods, soft and supple Ultra leather and Genuine Corian enhanced the roomy salon. A cherry and holly salon sole was standard as was the TV, VCR, stereo and CD player. The forward guest stateroom boasts a centerline innerspring queen mattress and loads of hanging and drawer space. The guest/day head is larger than most master heads and includes a separate stall shower and plenty of cabinets. Mainship concluded the 43 run in 2006.
